Dangote Group has once again solidified its position as Nigeria's highest taxpayer, paying a whopping N402.319 billion in taxes for the year 2024. This impressive feat was achieved through the collective efforts of its subsidiaries, including Dangote Cement, NASCON, and Dangote Packaging Limited.
The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) had previously recognized Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) and its subsidiary, Bluestar Shipping, for their exceptional tax compliance during the 2024 Lagos International Trade Fair.
Anthony Chiejina, Dangote's Chief Branding and Communication Officer, emphasized the company's commitment to fulfilling its tax obligations and contributing to the nation's growth. He also highlighted Dangote Group's significant contributions to Nigeria's economic development, particularly in the cement and petroleum refining sectors.
This remarkable achievement underscores Dangote Group's dedication to responsible business practices and its role as a leader in Nigeria's corporate landscape.
